There is a legal obligation for businesses to have a Health and Safety policy when it has 5 or more employees. This policy must be updated regularly, and it is recommended annually, or when things change within the business.

The Howarths Health and Safety team will provide risk assessment templates which support businesses in meeting their obligations. The team will advise clients through how to complete it and what should be included. These can also be reviewed periodically to ensure ongoing compliance.
Risk assessments should be reviewed regulary (recommended annually ) but also, if there was an accident or near miss, or if things change within the business.
