    Tailor Made Courses

    The Howarths HR and Employment Law Teams can offer bespoke one-day training courses for up to ten delegates at your premises.


    Howarths are accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) which gives our clients the additional benefit that our accredited courses are regulated by a national organisation and will result in a recognised certificate for all attendees. These certificates can then be stored on an employee’s personnel file and would be very useful evidence in any Tribunal situation.

    Employment Law – The Essentials

    This two-day course works its way through the complexities of Employment Law. On successful completion of a set assignment, delegates will receive a Certificate of Endorsement validated by the ILM.

    Essential Skills for
    Managers (Via Zoom)
    Date: WC 7th March 2022

    This virtual course will run over 5 days starting on Monday 7th March 2022. Throughout that week, from 9am to 10am every day, our expert team will be presenting a full range of management topics including ‘what it means to manage people’, ‘the purpose of contracts and handbook’ and covering all aspects of disciplinary, sickness and performance management.

    Disciplinary Investigations Training

    Understanding how to conduct a thorough, early investigation is essential for all managers and HR professionals to ensure that a fair disciplinary process takes place and avoiding employment tribunal claims.

    Emergency First Aid at Work
    Date: 17th February 2022

    This qualification is based on the HSE training standard for delivery of First Aid at Work courses for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.

    An Introduction to Health & Safety and Risk Assessing Made Easy
