The Howarths Musical Extravaganza is back!
Our second Musical Extravaganza in aid of Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice will be held at The John Smith’s Stadium on Friday 1st July 2016 and we can’t wait!
After the amazing success of our first Musical Extravaganza in aid of the hospice in 2015, the band of fantastic professional musicians that starred Peter Howarth of “The Hollies” and the wonderful Tony Benedict gave us their word that they’d do it all again this year…AND THEY ARE!
Last year saw 150 of our friends and clients partying the night away to live music from some of the country’s finest professional musicians who between them, have enough musical accolades to paper your office walls with! We danced to music from the sixties right through to the naughties, ate great food and made new friends. Best of all, we raised over £5000 for Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.
Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice sadly suffered a fire earlier this year, which meant that for a number of weeks they were unable to resume the full function of the organisation. The knock on effect of this was a loss of fundraising income as a result of the team being unable to work to capacity for 2 weeks. The estimated loss to the charity is in the region of £140,000 and here at Howarths we’re really passionate about helping them to raise enough money to be able to continue the fantastic work they do.
The whole Howarths team are working really hard to make this event as successful as possible for the hospice and we have tickets, tables and sponsorship options all up for grabs.* There are so many ways you can be involved, just give us a call and we’ll find the best way for you and your business.
