Howarths Music Extravaganza
In 2015 the team at Howarths People and Safety Management, organised the Howarths Music Extravaganza at the John Smith’s Stadium raising over £5000 for the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice and have decided to run it again on the 1st July 2016 and are delighted to announce that RRG Toyota Huddersfield will be supporting the event as the main sponsor.
Clive Mattimoe, Centre Principal at RRG Toyota Huddersfield said “As an existing fellow supporter of the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, RRG Toyota are delighted to join forces with the Howarths team and help to boost their magnificent fundraising efforts during this innovative and exciting event.
We are looking forward to sharing a memorable evening with all the other local businesses that continue to give so generously for such a wonderful cause”.
Following the recent serious fire at the Hospice there couldn’t be a more urgent need to raise funds and this year’s event will see the return headline act, Peter Howarth lead singer of the 60’s iconic pop/rock band The Hollies and the amazing Tony Benedict, king of swing.
In addition to last year’s line-up we also have opening the show and comparing throughout, the legendary comedian and magician Darren Mac who has achieved great success with two special titles in magic, ‘British Magical Champion of General Magic’ and ‘The Ken Dodd Comedy Award’ presented by his namesake in recognition of the most promising comedy magic talent.
For those of you who like a flutter we have our very own Casino and the person with the highest amount of chips from their free bet stands to win either a signed Huddersfield Giants rugby shirt, an authenticated signed rugby ball by the legendary Kevin Sinfield or a rally experience day provided by event sponsors, RRG Toyota Huddersfield.
