MD Update – April 2019

Our team of specialists are ready to help your business today

The first quarter of 2019 has seen Howarths continue to push ourselves to improve, grow and develop as a business. We’ve welcomed some fantastic new clients, including the newly formed Inspire North group in Leeds. Inspire North is a brilliant group of charities making a huge difference across the whole of the North of England – why not find out more about what they do here?
New faces at Howarths
As we continue to receive excellent referrals from our existing client base (a testament to our team who continue to give first-rate service!), the business is expanding. We’re welcoming Louise and Freya who will be bolstering our sales and advisory teams respectively, and our HR support service is also going from strength-to-strength. Last month, we agreed two new HR support contracts; one with a large-scale local manufacturing firm and the second with a fast-paced and ambitious finance lease company; both of which will now benefit from our expert team’s support onsite at their businesses to really develop their HR operations.
The team have also been busy up-skilling management teams across Yorkshire. Our HR and Employment Law teams have combined their expertise and experience to deliver high-value management training to businesses including Huddersfield’s infamous Marstons Chicken shop, XL Joinery and West Riding County FA, to name just a few.
Adding value to our clients
We’re constantly considering how we can add more value to the businesses we work with, and as a result have partnered with MyHRToolkit – a HR platform designed specifically for SMEs. If your HR record keeping needs improving (whose doesn’t?), please get in touch and we’ll show you the benefits of this very easy to use but effective software.
The Howarths team has also been working on launching mediation support, and we’ll soon be ready to offer specialised immigration employment advice, so watch this space!
Until next time.
Gavin Howarth.
