Music Extravaganza raises over £10,000!

Our team of specialists are ready to help your business today

Everyone at Howarths is absolutely delighted to announce that this year’s Music Extravaganza has raised over £10,000 to support the work of our family-run charity, The Howarth Foundation!
Aiming to raise a target of £8,000 on the night, we are thrilled to have smashed that number by over £2,000 – but we couldn’t have done it without your continued generosity and support.
Firstly, we’d like to once again extend a huge thank you to our headline sponsors The Design Bank and Erris Homes who were this year’s gold sponsors. Your generosity helps us make a massive difference to people’s lives.
Also, thank you again to Sovereign Wealth Huddersfield, Jigsaw Commercial finance brokers, Aura Print and RRG Toyota Huddersfield who also sponsored this year’s event.
And of course, a great big thank you to all of you who bought tables for this year’s Extravaganza and helped us raise even more money on the night by participating in our big balloon pop and silent auction. We really couldn’t have done it without you!
“Since The Howarth Foundation launched in 2017, we have secure employment for nearly 20 people, placed 16 into training and referred 13 into housing assessment. This gives them an important sense of purpose and the means to make a positive contribution to society after experiencing the grip of addiction and homelessness”, says The Howarth Foundation CEO, Andy Howarth.
Andy adds: “I would also like to personally thank every business that has supported us with employment and training opportunities through our Business Building Futures programme, as without their support, none of what we do would be possible.”
Trustee, Tracey Hopkins, adds:
“Our fifth annual Music Extravaganza was an overwhelming success. This year’s fundraising will ensure we can continue to support more people back into work over the next 12 months and extend the reach of our programme even further to continue changing people’s lives for the better. We can’t thank everyone involved enough!”
We hope you had an enjoyable and memorable evening at The John Smith’s Stadium and be sure to make a note in your diary for next year’s event – we’ll be announcing details soon!
