Freya Dearman – HR and Employment Law Assistant
Summarise your role in a couple of sentences.
I coordinate the documentation drafting process, seeing the process through from finish until end and working closely with the advisors to ensure that they are legally and commercially applicable. I also take on research tasks, helping advisors to get comprehensive answers back as efficiently as possible to our client base – the increasing knowledge from these tasks have kept me well-equipped to answer queries during these difficult times!
What’s your favourite part of the job?
I love working so closely with my colleagues; they all have such different experiences and backgrounds and together we learn so much from each other.
What three words would your colleagues use to describe you?
Smiley, happy to help, and good at making a cuppa 😉

What’s the nicest bit of feedback you’ve received from a customer or colleague?
Impressing Charlotte with my recent advice. Charlotte is our Head of Employment Law and as well as being very experienced and having multiple qualifications, has high standards in the sense of wanting the best for our clients, so this means a lot to me!
What are we most likely to find you doing when you’re not at work?
Trying out a new café (and of course, its coffee and cake) in Leeds!
What’s your favourite spot in Yorkshire?
Being a southerner and coming up here for this role, I am still yet to experience so much of Yorkshire! Therefore, any recommendations are welcome…
