Staff Spotlight: Meet our Client Ambassador, Stephanie Dennison!
What’s your name / nickname?
My name is Stephanie but I prefer Steph.
What’s your role at Howarths?
I’m the Client Ambassador.
What does that involve?
I oversee the whole customer journey with us. When a client joins the Howarths family, I create them a welcome letter, I set up their client portal and I email them to welcome them to Howarths. I then ensure that clients are happy with our services throughout, via a mixture of courtesy calls and emails. I also love getting to know each client, how they work and how we can tailor our support to them. Then when the client agreement is coming up to renewal, I contact the client to discuss their current requirements and set their renewal agreement up. I am here to answer any questions that our clients have, whether that is about our services, their client portal or their agreement with us.
How long have you been working at Howarths?
I joined Howarths in October 2020.
How did you end up working for Howarths?
I was contacted by a friend of Andy’s (Howarths Chairman!) who said that I would be a perfect fit for Howarths and asked if I have ever heard of them, which of course I had. At that time, there were no current vacancies but I appreciated the opportunity to meet with the team. The family orientated business attracted me to Howarths and throughout the meeting I knew that I would fit in well. I was overjoyed to hear that they created a position for me, and since then I have gained a second family.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love getting to know each client and knowing that we are making a difference to so many businesses.
What makes working at Howarths special?
Everyone at Howarths genuinely feels like an extended family, we all get on so well and I have never experienced team work like this.
If you could do any other job what would it be?
I can’t choose between a racing driver or a zoo keeper because I love driving, but I also love animals.
What’s your passion outside of work?
I enjoy going on track days and riding to the seaside to visit family.
Tell us something interesting about you that no one you work with knows.
I’m an open book so my colleagues know everything about me but when people first meet me, they are shocked to hear that I ride motorbikes.
