Howarths grows FA client roster with Liverpool County FA contract
We’re pleased to be further developing our footprint in the professional sports arena having recently welcomed Liverpool County Football Association to the Howarths family.
The Howarths team will be working closely alongside CEO, David Pugh, and the team at Liverpool County FA to provide guidance and support on the evolving employment law changes linked to the coronavirus pandemic, as well as ongoing support with human resources and people management issues.
The contract takes our total number of football association clients to 11, and comes shortly after we welcomed Birmingham FA, Berks & Bucks FA and Staffordshire FA as clients in April.
Gavin Howarth, managing director at Howarths, said: “Navigating the constantly evolving legislation around HR and employment law as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic is tough for many of the county FAs that do not have the experience required in-house.
“To allow them to focus on doing what they do best and nurture grass roots football in their respective regions across the UK, we have been working closely with a growing list of county FAs to help them navigate areas including the Job Retention Scheme and to identify what can be done to safeguard both organisations and their staff during this period.
“We’re delighted that Liverpool County FA has become the twelfth FA to choose Howarths, and we very much look forward to working with the team.”
