Howarths HR support set to help Jam Pan double its £3million turnover
Howarths has recently been appointed by Manchester based online freelancer marketplace, Jam Pan, to deliver strategic HR and employment law support as the company looks to double its £3million turnover by 2022 following a period of significant growth.
The partnership will see the Howarths advisory team working closely alongside Jam Pan’s chief operating officer, Julia Spencer, to help bolster the company’s HR and team development programme and employment law compliance as a key part of its next phase of business growth.
Talking about the company’s growth plans, Julia said: “Our next growth push will include a strong focus on recruiting and retaining the very best industry talent to work at Jam Pan.
“We want the team we work with to help shape the future of the company and be well looked after, so we’ll be working closely with Howarths to really develop our functional HR procedures and staff development pathways to make sure all our employees – present and future – reap the benefits.”
Gavin Howarth, managing director at Howarths, said: “Getting solid HR and employment law procedures in place is crucial for any fast growth, scale-up businesses looking to recruit the best talent.
“It demonstrates a deeper level of commitment from the business to the ongoing development of staff which can really help with recruitment, while also providing the tools and templates for senior teams to manage people issues confidently and efficiently as and when they inevitably arise.
“We are delighted that JamPan chose Howarths because they like the fact we’re a family-run business with family values at heart, but also that this is backed-up by our wealth of practical and commercial experience working on the job with scale-up SMEs to support their growth ambitions.
“We are very much looking forward to working alongside the Jam Pan team and helping them shape their strategic HR functions as the business embarks on the next stage of its growth journey.”
