The data we collect about you (and how we collect it)

Unless you become a client or an employee of Howarths we do not envisage making any disclosures of your personal data except where we are required to for legal and regulatory purposes.

International Transfers

We do not transfer your personal data outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). Where analytical data is transferred outside of the EEA, such as via Google Analytics, it is on an anonymised basis.

In order to prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the correct use of information, we have in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

Data Retention

We have specific data retention policies in relation to clients and employees. As a visitor to our website we will not retain any personal data about you unless you provide us with personal data in connection with an enquiry relating to our services. If you make an enquiry the information we collect about you is stored electronically on our database.

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data we consider the nature and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harmful or unauthorised use or disclosure and the purposes for which we process your personal data as well as the reasons why we may need to access the data after your original enquiry.
