Investigation training for managers
Conducting a full and thorough employee investigation can be a daunting prospect for managers with no formal training or experience.
The ACAS Code of Practice also states that those who carry out investigations should be trained for the task.
Howarths provides investigation training for SMEs and larger organisations to ensure employees running investigations are confident, prepared and able to achieve the best outcome. We can deliver investigation training workshops at your premises, provide one-to-one investigation coaching, or facilitate workshops via video call.
External investigation support
Howarths can attend your place of work and run the investigation process from start to finish on your behalf, including taking witness statements, sitting in on meetings and providing reports.
Working with a qualified, experienced and impartial external advisor can help put emotion to one side and achieve the desired outcome for your business, while leaving you safe in the knowledge that the process is thorough, fair and legally sound. Conducting a full and proper investigation is critical to the success or otherwise of the relevant HR process. Many cases are lost in Employment Tribunal through lack of proper investigation.
